Lake Cushman 2

We had a great visit with Uncle Jeff and Aunt Carrie last week. We all loved the day trip up to Lake Cushman despite the fact that it took forever to get through the main gate to pay. The computer's were down so it took extra long for each car...or let me put it the way the really young park ranger guy descibed why it was taking so long...."the computer is smoking crack so it is a little slow."
It was Gracie's first nature walk and she seemed to like it. Most people on the trail did triple takes as we walked by with the obviously very new baby. Uncle Jeff somehow ended up on Luke duty most of the day. Ty liked to be the leader of the pack checking out the trail to make sure it was safe. Carrie was a real trooper for being pregnant. Not one complaint from her! Luke figured out pretty quickly to stay nearby to her cause she had the snacks!

Daddy dinner

All the men in the house were so excited to cook the 20" spaghetti that they found at the store that they did it all by themselves! At least I know that if I go out of town, they can handle cooking a spaghetti dinner on their own.

Happy Feet

I know big feet run on my side of the family. Can't imagine how big this little foot will end up some day.

Gracie received this georgeous dress hand made by Joe's mom. The boys keep telling her that she looked beautiful.

Milkshakes

In case you are wondering, the boys do know how to make milkshakes from start to finish without any help from any grownups.

Rafting Trip

Cody wore his sunglasses on his eyes and his goggles on his forehead so he would be prepared for anything!

This was one of the many seals the boys passed on their rafting adventure in the Sound.

Who says newborns don't smile?

Ok, you can see the tail end of her huge smile in the picture. A second earlier it was from ear to ear.
